ATX STEM Park is a LASA Robotics community initiative to create a space for Central Texans of all ages to go a have fun with STEM activities. This is also space for High School Robotics teams to practice with their robots before they go to competition.

We took our first serious strides toward our goal in 2015 when we collaborated with Austin Community College to provide 10,000 square feet of space to the community. Open during mall hours, the space allowed for a full FTC field, and could have handled a full FRC field. Unfortunately for us, the game did not lend itself to full field, so we only set up 1/2 of an FRC field. Several community events and robotic competitions were held.
Our vision is a permanent community-accessible space where citizens share their passion to learn, design, create, test and compete in pursuit of science.
This year finds us partnered with Texas Museum of Science and Technology. In their 30,000 square feet new facility, we have FLL and FTC fields on a permanent basis (FRC is possible, if there is a need). In addition, we have collaborated with the museum to provide fantastic space for events. We can host league play, Friday Night Bots, and other large scale events.
